  Other reviews complain about expensive fees for recycling, yet recycling of many items is FREE, but only if you separate like for like - not difficult. Besides, prices are largely dictated by the EPA.
  
  I've never found the tip to be closed. Personally I think they do a great job and they truly care for the environment.
  
  If you live in the Wyong/Gosford area, make use of your six free curbside collections for the heavy items, and take lighter items to the tip. Saves money :)
